Monique M. Boddie was born Monique M. Reed in Jacksonville, FL to Mrs. Florine Edwards and Mr. James Reed. She attended the public schools of Jacksonville, FL and ultimately pursued a career as a licensed cosmetologist and successful Avon Representative. Lady Monique is the loving and supporting wife of Pastor Lawson J. Boddie and caring mother of their daughter Melody Michelle and son Lawson J. Boddie II (LJ). She serves as the Business Administrator for the Word of Life Christian Fellowship, Inc. where her responsibilities are vendor relations and resource management.

Lady Monique accepted Christ at age 15 and faithfully served in local churches of Jacksonville. Some of her services in ministry include audio tape ministry, prayer ministry, music ministry, encouragers ministry, office angels, master life teacher assistant, altar ministry and salvation counselor.

In addition to church ministry, Lady Monique has also served with the HIS Community Choir and HIS Ladies Ensemble, recorded with Shabach Entertainment artists Febe, Nia'Jah, Grits and Willie Bond & Instruments of Praise, and recorded with Dr. John E. Guns and New Day Ensemble of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church of Jacksonville, Inc.

Lady Monique accepted her call to ministry in 2001 and completed ministry training under her husband in the JEG Ministry/Preaching Institute, preaching her licensing sermon in July of 2002.
